Paid Online Surveys: Is It Right For You?

Everyone wants easy money, and getting paid to answer questions sounds pretty simple. By taking a paid web surveys, many people think that there is a good amount of cash to be made. Some think that earning five or ten dollars per survey adds up, and that they could end up making a considerable supplemental income from taking survey after survey. Most paid web surveys aren’t anywhere near as good as they seem, though.

For those who do web surveys, there is a certain way to fill them out that can make answering several paid web surveys an hour a possibility. Many people have shortcuts that they use as they take online surveys, making it easier to earn money by answering faster to move onto the next survey. Most people, however, only rely on the point-and-click method of filling out survey after survey, making the money flow insignificant, considering the amount of work required.

What makes a professional survey taker different from an amateur is the amount of time he or she will put into the whole procedure. Of course, not everyone is willing to put in the time to make a considerable amount of money doing online surveys after paid web surveys; so it is important to decide whether or not being a professional survey taker is the job for you.

Many people wonder where the information for a survey ends up. The reality is that marketing companies pay big money for that information and they, in turn, pass that information onto other big businesses. Manufacturers are scrambling for new ways to sell products, and the paid web surveys may provide a clue as to what people will pay more money for.

Paid online surveys certainly benefit sales teams and marketing companies, but how beneficial are they to the general public? Are the new products created based on online survey information truly what people want, or are they the result of someone’s point-and-click methodology of trying to earn a few dollars? Do survey takers who fill out hundreds really care what they click on?

For those living on a fixed income without the ability to do a lot of work outside the home, the paid web surveys may represent an actual career path. There is some money to be made through these surveys for those who invest a good deal of time, but the odds of building fortune on the back of a paid online survey aren’t that great.

One of the bad mistakes network marketers make in their network marketing business is not following up on a consistent basis with their prospects. The truth is, most of the time, their upline is to blame simply because they are taught that if they are not interested just move on.

Well, this is okay in theory but we are dealing with a sales-based industry and while relationship marketing is the core base, it’s still about sales and it’s a proven fact the majority of people never buy on the first look.

Simply dismissing a prospect because they don’t join your network marketing business the first time round doesn’t mean they are not interested. If they let you know that no, I am not interested and please don’t contact me again then yes, let them go but the majority of people will simply put it on the backburner initially.

That’s why the presell approach you use is vital and why you need to begin the education of your prospect from the time they come into your sales funnel.

Warm Up Your Prospect

In a work at home business such as network marketing, you’re selling the opportunity. Many take this literally and bombard their prospects with sales pitch after sales pitch.

Eventually, they’ll hit the unsubscribe button and put you down as a bad experience. Why is this? Becase at no stage have they been given any information so they can assess you as someone they truly believe can move them forward in reaching their goals.

Hitting prospects with a barrage of sales pitches doesn’t convince them that you are the genuine article and someone they can place their trust in. In other words, you don’t convince them that you would be able to deliver what you’re saying in the sales messages.

Following Up With Prospects The Right Way

So how do you earn a prospect’s trust? You educate them in your follow up messages instead of trying to sell them. It’s that simple.

By educating a prospect you’re showing them you’re someone who knows what they’re talking about and they gradually start to believe that it’s you who can help them achieve success in a work at home business.

You build trust and credibility with a prospect with every educational message you send them. It shows them you are genuinely interested in their wants and needs and not just trying to make a sale. Every message should clearly show them that their time and money will be well invested with you. More importantly, the information you provide needs to be useful enough that they can take it away and use it.

By constantly bombarding prospects with sales pitches you raise their defenses. It’s natural and confrontational to them. They will naturally resist you but by providing messages that are educational, then this resistance is negated and non existent and your network marketing business will be better for it.

One of the keys to building a successful network marketing business is getting involved with it at a level where you become immersed in it. That means you can’t go at it half-hearted.

The other key and this ties in with the above is you need to step into your prospects shoes. That is, you need to be thinking like your prospect and by doing this you will quickly begin to see what they really want.

Too many network marketers take the half-hearted approach. Yes, the idea and concept is understood and they know with a little effort they can make money and build a successful network marketing business but it’s this point in time where they need to add the effort factor to their business.

Then there’s the other factor; not really knowing what the prospect wants and forgetting to put themselves in their shoes. This leads to premature sales pitches which come across as “I don’t care what you want. You should take a look at this otherwise you’ll be sorry.”

Well, this approach will lose you most of your prospects and the ones who eventually join will be on the backfoot because they’ll adopt your style of recruiting and run into the same attrition rate you’re experiencing.

What Your Prospect Really Wants

But what about the missing puzzle many seem to overlook. Let’s go back to the beginning and ask again…”Do you really know what your prospect wants?” Most network marketers want the usual things; to be able to work from home and get rid of the J.O.B., financial freedom and to be able to take lots of vacations.

They are great wants but superficial. Many mistake these as their prospects wants without really stopping for a minute to find out what they really want. Here’s a clue. A prospect enters your funnel and sees an opportunity which interests them. They also have long term desires such as the ones we’ve mentioned.

That’s a start and an end. What about the important gap in the middle? Have you filled in the main story line? And that is the crucial missing puzzle of what a prospect really wants. They want to know how they are going to go from start to finish and if you can’t tell them then you can kiss them goodbye.

The majority of us want the same things, that’s a given but most people don’t know how to get them. They want to know how and that’s where many network marketers fall down when trying to build a successful home business.

The Importance Of A Strong Marketing System

So what’s the how? That’s simple. It’s the marketing system your implementing in your network marketing business. It’s the missing puzzle in getting someone from interested to achieving their ultimate dreams.

Too many network marketers are blinded by such things as how great the company is, how good the products are, the compensation plan and the timing of an opportunity. That’s all well and good but does that show someone how to get what they want in their drive to financial freedom?

Building a successful network marketing business starts with attracting prospects into your funnel however, once they are there, you need to satisfy their most important question…how are they going to achieve their goals?

The best way to do that is to present them with a good marketing system which confirms the initial message they saw to respond to you. It’s the how they are looking for.
