Let me explain briefly how ranking in Google works:

To make a bunch of Google nonsense calculations easy to understand, Google looks at two key areas when ranking a page.  They ask ‘how popular is this page?’ And they also ask ‘how relevant to the search term is this page?’  The relevancy is calculated based off of some complex secret Google formulas, simply put, they want to see if your content is related to the search.  Google search bots have no ability to spider videos, so they simply trust what’s in the video description and index the content according to that info.

Popularity is actually much more basic than relevancy, and is simply determined in the following ways:

1.  How many external websites are linked to this piece of content? (i.e. the video, article, site, etc that you want listed on the top of Google)
2.  How popular are the pages that link to the referenced piece of information?
3.  How much search engine authority does the website with the promoted content have?

So far, does this make sense to you?

So now that my Efusjon Review video is listed on the search engines and has been spidered by Google, I have a simple step by step procedure I follow:  (For the whole procedure, follow the link to my blog below)

1.  I’m going to use a service called TubeMogul (it’s free) to broadcast my video to about 10 other video sites, with a link pointing back to my original YouTube video.
2.  I’m going to broadcast this article that you’re reading with links back to my video over the most popular article sites on the internet using my brilliant Article Submission software.  (See my ‘David Recommends’ on my blog for more details).
3.  I’m going to use a social bookmarking service called OnlyWire to post social bookmarks back to my video, my blog post, and a couple of my articles.  OnlyWire is free to use.  Google ‘OnlyWire’ for more information. 

By the time that I’m done with my little process here, my video will have several hundred search engine backlinks, more so than any other similar video.  Google, along with the other search engines, will percieve these links as meaning the video has ‘popularity’ and it will rank it in the top page under that specific search term of ‘Efusjon Review.’

5 Free Article Marketing Tips To Dramatically Increase Your Results

Article marketing produces results. It’s that simple.  How do I know that it works?  Simple.  I got 25,000 unique visitors to my brand new website in less than 8 weeks from the time I launched it using nothing but article promotion strategies.

In case you haven’t picked up on how significant that is, how much do you think Google would charge you to get 25,000 visitor through Pay Per Click advertising?  A LOT.  To be truthful, the leads that come through an article, or blog entry are more qualified anyways than if I paid for them.  (Also, that way I know I’m working with people who can read).

Because I want to keep these strategies short, let’s jump right to it and talk about the 5 best article promotion tips anywhere on the internet:

1.  Write 1 new article per day, every day of the week. Out of all of the things I can possibly teach you, this is probably the most important.  In a very short time, you will out rank almost all of your competition simply by creating more original content.  Unless you’ve got some paid assistance, I wouldn’t create much more than one article per day, because of the time that it would take, unless you write professionally. 

2.  Use technology to create variations of your articles and submit the variations to as many article directories and blogs as you possibly can. What I do is simply take thirty minutes or so extra per article and I create unique variations of each sentence before I broadcast them using my software.  The next step I take is that I use the same software that creates the variations to submit my content to the top 200 article directories online.  Because I’m creating unique articles by spinning the content, my articles are unique variations wherever they’re submitted, and I don’t have any problems with duplicate content. 

3.  You want to point all of your article submissions back to your original work on your website through the author resource box. That way if Google thinks that it’s just a bunch of duplicate content, (which it won’t, if you re-write the sentences), at least it will all point back to your original article, and your website will come up first in the search engines.  I’ve demonstrated that this works with more than 50 competitive, unique keyword phrases.  Try it for a week and test the waters.

4.  Create a short, 30 second video of yourself talking about how awesome your article is. All you have to do next is use one of the free video promotion services online to broadcast your video to the top sharing sites.  Then you want to direct your video to link back to your original article.  I use a simple service called Traffic Geyser for all of my video promotions.  However, if you want to do it a little slower you can use one of the free video promotion services out there.

5.  Bookmark your original piece of content, and your YouTube video using OnlyWire.com, which is a free social bookmarking service that will submit your original article to 25 or so social bookmarking sites, which gives everything you do additional links and exposure.
