mlm downline

You've just signed up with your new company and you're excited. Jumping up and down, hugging the neighbor’s dog excited. You long awaited dream of retiring in the next 3 years and moving to a ski villa in France is finally achievable now that you are with you new network marketing company.

All you need to do is recruit 5 people who see the same vision you do.

Yes sir, Uncle Bob is soon going to be eating his words about calling you a deadbeat!

You’re eager to begin recruiting new business builders into your company because you know this is the fast-track to success. You call up and schedule a private meeting with the most successful up-line distributor in your company.

So together you make a list of all the people you know including your daughter’s hair dresser and Uncle Bob. You figure you won't even have to talk to Uncle Bob because your company will be exploding with people next week.

And then something happens…no one you know is interested in your opportunity or product. Your new list of potential prospects is quickly dwindling. You are determined to succeed so you schedule a light lunch with Uncle Bob…..

Disheartened after Uncle Bob lectures you about “being responsible” and there aren’t any shortcuts to success you put your dreams of mlm business success away and get back to reality.

What went wrong?

You have an excellent company and tons of people are making 6-figures a month? You did everything your sponsor and up-line told you to do? Maybe it’s Karma!

Actually you didn’t do anything wrong. You just didn't receive a key element to MLM recruiting success.

This key is…..(drumroll please) having so many prospects to talk to each day that you can’t possible reach every single one of them.

I believe many sponsors don’t tell their new recruits that because they’re afraid they will scare them off, that it will seemingly be an impossible task. But by leaving out this critical element of success many people fail before they even have a fair shot at success.

Making a list of your warm market and calling everyone on it will not lead you down the road to MLM success. You must have a system that consistently brings you 10, 20, 30 or even 100 leads each day that you can present your company to.

Armed with this knowledge, re-do your business and marketing plan. Set a goal or make a promise to yourself that you will discover a way to have 10-30 prospects to talk to every day. Once you have a clear vision, magic can happen as answers and resources will make themselves available to you.

And the great news is that there are several step-by-step systems already available that will teach you how to consistently attract 10-30 leads every day with a limited marketing budget.

Why Do A lot Of People Flop in MLM?

Network Marketing System

If your network marketing business gives great products and an attractive pay plan it seems incredible to see that so often associates who come into this industry fail to earn much money and set themselves up for life. The earning power that this business model offers definately is powerful when you look at the clout of building a downline and having hundreds of people lower than you all keen to explode their business, in theory you should almost be able to take a back seat and watch the profits roll in.

I’ve spoken to many networkers over the last few weeks, some successful and some not, I am of the belief that the main reasons people are not succeeding in network marketing is because of poor training and not taking enough action! Sad but true that a lot of network marketing companies and uplines simply do not train their new distributors how to create a cash flow quickly. Retention rates in this industry are around a shocking 15%! Many new networkers feel that they just simply do not get the assistance they need from their uplines and it goes without saying that the traditional methods of recruitment do not work as well as they used to.

It is so important to learn and implement attraction marketing in this business, I learned from the great master himself Mike Dillard and since implementing his way of thinking things have never been the same again… in any aspect of my life! I highly endorse all his products to you and your team. If you are branding yourself correctly you will magnetize the correct people to you and you can begin to build a relationship with them and done correctly they will be investigating you and your business! better than you having to pitch them endlessly!.

Using the internet and employing the attraction marketing principles is very effective. Take heed though, don’t fall into the trap many newbies do by posting links everywhere claiming ‘Best Opportunity ever, make $$$ overnight, The best company since sliced bread’ etc…you know the kind of things im talking about, just take a look in your email spam box. People will do business with people that they know and trust, it stands to reason you will stick out from the crowd by branding yourself and what you can give to your prospects in the way of support and very valuable training. Always put forward true value!

Just remember that to get the interest of prospects you must offer them overwhelming value, go above and beyond what everyone else is doing and you will stand out from the marketing noise and position yourself in a place of authority in the market. Its very important that you have systems in place that will take care of much of the relationship building on auto-pilot, things such as autoresponders and video marketing, emails you compose only once and then can be read by thousands over and over again, videos you make once and can be viewed by hundreds.

It pays to make sure your team is aware of these strategies so they can maximise their results and in turn benefit you. Attraction marketing is the clear winner, not spam marketing. By teaching these strategies to your downline you will have a much better retention rate. I’d love to teach you more but I can’t do it all in one article!

The sales funnel that I employ I believe is the best on the internet, it will scientifically recruit and sort each and every mlm network marketing lead that you generate, stop by my blog for more info & free training. Article written by James Hicks MLM Coach

Succeed the MLM Way

Network marketing also known as Multi-level marketing or MLM, is a marketing strategy that reimburses promoters of direct selling companies not only for product sales they personally create, but also for the sales of others they introduced to the company. The products and company are usually marketed directly to consumers and potential business partners by means of relationship referrals and word of mouth.

Indeendent salespeople such as individual business owners, dealers, franchise owners, sales consultants, and agents who stand for the parent company are referred as distributors or associates and receive commission based upon the volume of products sold through each of their businesses.

Network marketing or Multi-level marketing is a new trend in business that offers an opportunity to become a member of a system to distribute products to customers. A lot of resources and time should be expended to start a business but avoid going through all that and join a MLM company that will provide you the resources and training required.

As a member of an MLM scheme, you earn money by selling the products of the MLM company to other participants. Your mlm business grows as the members increase, also increasing the prospects of financial success. It is a complimentary business beacuse all members profit from their own individual sales as well as the sales of their co-members. That is a downline. Creating your downline is an integral part in online mlm. MLM business is a full-proof scheme that will get you rich the soonest possible time. You don’t have to work that hard because you make money not just by your own efforts but also by the efforts of others. The more people you get to join the more chances you can multiply your income. Being able to communicate well and convince others to join your mlm company will be very instrumental in the success of your business venture.  Being a member of a MLM company feels like being part of large extended family. One of the best mlm business is Success University.

If you have even been in a MLM business you are probably already familiar with the old school marketing tactics.  You know the ones, make a list of all your family and friends, put up signs on all the telephone poles, flyers on bulletin boards, drop cards, door hangers, hotel meetings, cold calling, and the infamous 3 foot rule.

Did they work for you?  They don’t for most people so don’t feel alone.

When I joined my earlier MLM programs, I was told these and similar techniques.  The main thrust was to contact as many people as I could and determine if they were interested in making some additional money and then sign them up into my program.  I was told that everyone was a potential enrollee.  After all, didn’t everyone want to make some extra money?

However, what they either didn’t tell me or at least played down, was the large amount of rejection I would have to face.  Approaching a disinterested, untargeted market not only resulted in a large amount of out right rejection, it also created some amount of hostility.

Buy opportunity leads and call them was the response from my upline.  “The more you call the more people you will sponsor, remember this is a numbers game,” he said.  Sure you will get some rejection, but don’t let it bother you.  Just consider each rejection as one more call closer to getting a “yes” response.

Yet hostile responses, hung up phones, and just plain more rejections were my reward for following this guidance.  And I found that most of these supposedly opportunity seekers were nothing of the sort.  Most has no idea how they had gotten on my list and had no interest in anything having to do with MLM.

Now I was getting deeper and deeper into debt purchasing leads and had zero to show for it.

I gave up for a while feeling that MLM just would not work for me.  But then I discovered a easier and better way.  A way that in not taught by most Network Marketing companies because it is not the “traditional way they have always done it.”

This new type of marketing, sometimes called attraction marketing or relationship marketing reverses the traditional roles and the hunted now become the hunters.  Instead of trying to push my program on anyone and everyone, I was able to offer useful information to a much more targeted audience, build a relationship with them and have them ask me about what I did and how to join my team.

{So, if the old school MLM strategies are not working for you, I strongly suggest that you take a look at the new school attraction marketing techniques and don’t be held back by obsolete marketing methods, or at least marketing methods that aren’t working for you.}

Is Multi level Marketing Sponsoring Easy?

“Do I have to know and sponsor many people to be successful in MLM?” is a commonly asked question.

A common response you might hear from upline sponsors is…

“No, if you sponsor just one person every month or so, you can become quite successful in MLM, and build up a substantial residual income.

They go on to say that the people you sponsor do not have to come from the group of people you already know (commonly called your warn market).  They tell you to think about how many people you converse with in your everyday activities!

But then they turn around and tell you to make a list of everyone you know, even from a casual relationship.  They instruct you to list everyone you can think of for example, people you work with, go to church with, people you do business with, people you went to school with, people you knew before you moved to your present location, etc. and you will be amazed by the number of people that end up on your list.

But the question is, will all these people really join your MLM business if you ask them to?  Most probably not.  However, statistics show that if only one out of every one hundred contacts you make joins your program under you, it will be enough to make your car payment, another one will make your house payment, and one more will retire you!

That’s really not so bad.  Three out of every one hundred is achievable, but you have to make the contacts.  As the saying goes, “the more you tell, the more you sell.”  Additionally, all the people on your contact list know other people and although they might not be interested themselves, they might refer your to others who will be interested.

However, there is one flaw in this whole process and that is that you have to be willing to be rejected by 97 people.  That is a lot of rejection and most people will not last that long.  And initially these are people you at least know, so the rejection is even more difficult to accept.

Do you know a number of people who would be willing to approach one hundred people and get rejected by 97 of them over and over again?  If you do, terrific, go sign them up today.  However, most people will not continue trying to sell or recruit to a disinterested, unwilling or hostile market.

If you are fortunate enough to recruit someone who is currently a seccessful network marketer with requisite skills, who brings along his established downline with him and becomes a “heavy hitter” in your company, then technically the answer given above is true.  If your company’s compensation plan is supportive, then that single recruit may be able to carry you along.

It is highly unlikely that you will be able to enroll a “heavy hitter” who can rapidly go out and build a large downline below you if you are only signing up “one person every month or two.”

So what are your alternatives if you can’t recruit a “heavy hitter” early in you MLM recruiting efforts and you don’t look forward to the thought of being rejected by 97 out of every one hundred people you contact?

Instead of seeking out all your friends and family members and rapidly becoming a member of the NFL (No Friends Left) club, or bugging everyone within 30 feet of you as suggested by some sponsors, you need to narrow down your target market.  Everyone is not your target market.  Your target market is made up of people who are already looking to start a home business, to earn extra money on a part-time basis, are looking for a Multi Level Marketing business to join or are already a member of some other Network Marketing program.  You can even further narrow down your niche to only the latter group if you desire.  Then entice them to come to you and get them to join your company by employing a soft sell technique instead of the hard sell methods pushed by many MLM sponsors.

“And just how are you supposed to do that?”, you might ask.

You can achieve this by offering your target market a free report or funded proposal relevant to your niche and developing your mailing or emailing (preferable) list.  Then using this list, you develop a relationship with the members of your list by providing them useful information and becoming an authority figure in their eyes.  This is known as relationship marketing.

If your market has been correctly identified, you will soon find that prospects will contact you looking for guidance and asking how to become a member of your program.
