Social Media Marketing. LinkedIn, FaceBook, Myspace and Twitter. How To Turn All Of Your Accounts Into Money Making Machines!
Social media marketing, what is it and why do you need to spend time doing it? Ok, so you’re on them all the time. Be truthful here, you are on them all the time. Well, if you’re not, I spend enough time on them for the both of us. What do we actually do on these sites? We chat with friends, look at profiles, read posts, send messages, update people on what we’re up to and much, much more. And, while playing Farmville or Mafia wars( whatever that is), In the back of our minds, we know that there’s some money to be made on these sites. We know that there is some way to capitalize on these giants of the net. But how?!
To start with let’s talk about which sites we should be focusing our web 2.0 marketing on. Not surprising, Facebook and twitter are the two biggest. MySpace used to be the giant, What is lost ground to the newcomers. So, I’m sure the last time you were on the sites you noticed that there is a lot of advertising going on. Naturally then, it’s not too shocking that these behemoths make hundreds of millions of dollars every year in ad revenue. That’s right, Facebook marketing, Twitter marketing, MySpace marketing, and Linkedin marketing have become a huge focal point for pretty much any company in any industry. So, in the following paragraphs, we will place our emphasis on the big four, and how we can profit from them for nothing. Whoops I failed to mention YouTube, YouTube marketing is probably the biggest of all.
Now, if you have it in no that this marketing is not complicated and will actually require some of the same activity. No Rocket Science here people! Really! We’ve almost got it, we’re so close to the thousands of free leads and many , many more reps on our teams. So, let’s talk about how we need to adjust our activities.
So, what do we need to change?! Firstly, let’s drop the constant chatter about our company and products. Shocking, isn’t it?! I know, I know that is what outlines have told us. And, there will be a time when we’ll focus on these things, however, it will not be right away. You can contact me personally if this has produced your financial freedom, but it did not work for me. Nowhere near the point of financial freedom, And isn’t that our goal?! Instead we need to be talking more about ourselves and what we have to offer! We need to show people that we are the leaders that they want to (and should) partner with for success.
Secondly, what can we do to show these folks that we have value? There are a few, very simple things that I have found to do just that: 1. Let’s start with an easy-to-follow system that helps people reach goals., 2. Always help your contacts when they need you,even when there is no chance of them joining your business! 3. Share Your Value Freely! That’s right, don’t expect anything.
In my view, the final thing in this the most important. Let’s go back to an old adage. “You must give to recieve.” Now, how true is that statement! You want to be rich? You have to spend. If you want to be loved, you must be willing to love. You must treat others as you want to be treated. It’s a natural law and when that one amazing principle is applied in business, The results can be amazing! As soon as you put this law into action, in business and in life, it will change everything!
I now freely give my knowledge, of this industry and the techniques that I have learned, freely every and sometimes many times a day. Thus, I reap the rewards as well!
So, I hope you realize the simplicity, yet utter importance of social media marketing. It is a way to connect with current customers, recruit new reps, and make thousands of new connections.
