If you have a homebased business then you know that it can be difficult to find advertising that stays within your budget. Business owners looking for diferent ways to get the world out to their target market, but sometimes it's hard to find good advertising that's cost effective too. The Internet has a lot to offer, and low cost advertising is one of those things. You don’t have to look far to find cost effective advertising for your homebased business.

1. Use online classifieds. There are many classified ads free. You may not get a lot of leads from them, but since they aren’t costing you anything you might as well use them. While there are numerous sites available for you to post your ad on, try to stick with the more popular ones. Once you get into ones that aren’t as popular you are wasting a lot of your time putting up ads that may not benefit you.

2. Look into blog advertising. Blog advertising is a growing trend in online advertising and can be extremely cost effective. Your budget may not allow for you to advertise on some of the most popular sites, but there are blogs about anything you can image. Placing a small ad at a minimal cost will allow you to target your specific market. Blog ads are a great option for homebased businesses.

3. Let your customers advertise for you. What’s the best from of advertising? Word of mouth has and always will be the best form of advertising. After all it’s free and people trust recommendations from people they know. You can offer your current customers a percentage off of your products or services for each new client they bring you. People love to get free stuff, they will be more than happy to spread the word. The best thing about it is that you are only paying when you get results.

You may not have a large advertising budget for your homebased business, but that doesn’t matter. If you are actively marketing yourself and getting your company name out there, you will succeed.
