As traditional avenues of employment dry up due to a worsening economy, numerous prople are now seeking self employment ideas in the hope of improving their income. And, unfortunately, in times like these, people are inclined to grasp at castles in the air, to use an esoteric term, by believing a lot of of the get rich quick plans around.

For starters, all self employment ideas you have will only ever stay that way, until action is taken to bring them to life. And secondly, get rich quick schemes might (and it’s only a might!) make you some quick money, but for any endeavor to succeed over the long haul, it requires time and effort. And often doing mundane things which, although not bringing in financial results immediately, are necessary for the long term success of any business.

One of the best and least complicated self employment ideas that has appeal to many, is to build adsense sites for long term profit. Basically, adsense sites are just content sites on any subject under the sun. The more simple the construction of the site the better, as they are essentially an article resository. Pick any subject you want, and over time build it to have hundreds of articles on just that subject. Each article, will have some contextual text adverts from google somewhere on the page.

This objective being to get individuals to make you some cash by hopefully clicking on one of the ads. It’s just a matter then of building traffic. The more people visiting the site, the more money you are likely to make, as only a tiny percentage of page viewers will click the ads.

As the best self employment ideas go, this is perhaps my favorite, and for many reasons, as you don’t need much money to start. You can do it from anywhere in the world (including your home), as all you need are a computer and an internet connection. And it provides long term financial earnings for well into the future

Plus, the best part about adsense sites is that once you have put in the required amount of time and efforts (two to three months, perhaps) in optimising your site, both onsite and offsite, its just a matter of sitting back and counting the cash. Because, at this stage, you should be very high up in the rankings, if you have done your keyword research and optimisation correctly.

Once you have one adsense site up and making money, you just repeat the same process for a different niche and so on. Furthermore, as you get more and more experienced, at doing whats basically the same thing, you will find yourself doing less and less work but making more and more money. This apparent conundrum is because all the work you put in at the beginning, is finally beginning to bear fruit.

If you are trying to come up with some good self employment ideas, you should seriously consider the above, as it’s one of the most viable business models in existence on the internet today. It might require a small learning curve to climb initially. But that only requires your time and if you make the effort, you will have learned a new skill that can make you money. Is this not something that will have a lasting value, would you not concur? Especially so, when ideas for self employment are thin on the ground 

It’s not rocket science. It’s proven to work for a considerable amount of others. It’s easy to implement….AND it can give you a really good income to the end of your days, if you do it right. Of all the many ideas for self employment, this one is very good!
